In Search Of Internet Real Estate
I'm at it again. Looking for an internet address for my next business venture.
With online sales, I think you have a 50% chance of a success if you get the right url. For this reason, I will not attempt to start to work on my business plan until I have found a good name.
Everything that I have thought of, are already taken up and are legitimate businesses outside the area that I am thinking of venturing. On the other hand, I have a couple of internet addresses that I'm hoarding but there are not suitable for what I intend to do.
If I don't get something pleasing then I will put my business idea to rest and move on to something else.

Good luck bro
With all due respect, internet url marketing is so 90's. It is all about search, and rankings. It is being in the top 10 ranks of your target markets keyword search. It is all about SEO. That comes about by creating content, and blogs that other link to. Case in point zappos, a websit e that sells shoes, and makes a boatload of money doing it.
Not clear what you are after, you mean you wanna start a real estate website or a search engine optimizer that supports real estate websites? Its a tough industry but nothing is impossible.
Come on regular Joe...just because you can't find a good web address doesn't mean you should shelve your plans...Think all the successful companies that have names you'd have thought were laughable if you'd heard them before - Yahoo, google...even Toyota would be a wiered name if they weren't such a popular brand. A memorable easy to pronounce name is good but not necessarilly. Don't let that be the excuse.
Annons,
SEO is what gets people to the door, but for repeat visits you need to stand out from the competition.
I'm looking for a good name.
I don't have the money to invest in branding.
How can we help?
Kim, thanks for the offer. With this one there is nothing anyone can do other than myself.
Getting a good url is a hit and miss process. I've come across a name or two but I haven't found the ONE.
No money for branding, how about blog posts, facebook posts, tweets, content? SEO is not url, it is also about connecting, if you are connecting with the major bloggers, websites in your sector, your website is going to popup. I suggest you look at Zappos.
